About the UBA Arbitration Court
The Arbitration Court of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) is one of Armenia’s oldest and largest permanent arbitration institutions.
Arbitration may hear disputes arising from financial, contractual or non-contractual relations.

The number of cases heard in arbitration increases every year, making it an important platform for dispute resolution in Armenia’s financial and commercial sectors.
IN 2020-2025, MORE THAN 45,000 CASES WERE HEARD IN ARBITRATION
Case Proceedings in Arbitration
AWARDS RENDERED BY THE ARBITRATION COURT HAVE BINDING LEGAL FORCE AND ARE SUBJECT TO COMPULSORY ENFORCEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROCEDURE ESTABLISHED BY THE LEGISLATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
Cases are heard exclusively electronically.
The average case review period is 15-20 days.
Cases may be heard by a sole arbitrator or by a panel of three or more arbitrators.
To support the parties, the Arbitration Court has a staff whose professional employees assist both claimants and respondents in their communications with the Arbitration Court.

Arbitration Fees
ARBITRATION COSTS ARE DISTRIBUTED BETWEEN THE PARTIES IN PROPORTION TO THE SATISFIED CLAIMS.
For monetary claims, the arbitration fee is 1.3% of the claim amount, but not less than AMD 12,000 (twelve thousand) and not more than AMD 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand).
For non-monetary claims, the arbitration fee is AMD 50,000 (fifty thousand).
